UFC Tonight: Sean Strickland returns at UFC Vegas 76

The MMA world leader’s first event in July sees the company back at the UFC Apex for a fight night card led by a pair of high-level middleweights.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 76, ranked star Sean Strickland will take on fast-rising former PFL fighter Abus Magomedov. The bout is a high-risk fight for Strickland as a loss could cost him his spot in the UFC middleweight rankings.

The card from Las Vegas also features the return of well-established Octagon veterans Alexandr Romanov, Max Griffin, Kevin Lee, and Blagoy Ivanov.

The UFC brings another stacked card for this year’s annual international fight week pay-per-view extravaganza in UFC 290 on July 8.

The company’s PPV event in July is headlined by a major matchup at featherweight when reigning division king Alexander Volkanovski returns to the division for a unification matchup with gifted striker and interim champion Yair Rodriguez.

In the co-main event, UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno returns to defend his gold against the only man to ever beat him twice, Alexandre Pantoja. The card inside Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena also includes the return of former middleweight champ Robert Whittaker and UFC Hall-of-Famer Robbie Lawler.
